Welcome to New Bridges Counseling

Specialized Therapy for Anxiety, OCD, and Phobias in Women

You don’t have to keep managing anxiety on your own. I help women who feel stuck in overthinking, fear, or unwanted thoughts learn evidence-based skills to gain a better quality of life.

  • If your mind feels constantly “on,” you second-guess yourself, or intrusive thoughts won’t let you relax, you’re not alone.

Many of the women I work with are high-functioning on the outside but feel exhausted internally. Anxiety, panic, OCD patterns, and specific fears can quietly take over daily life.

Using evidence-based approaches like CBT and ERP (exposure response prevention), we’ll work together to help you respond differently to anxiety and take back control.

  • Many of the women I work with also struggle with other anxiety-driven issues like fear of conflict, people-pleasing, overworking, and feeling responsible for others’ emotions. These patterns can contribute to burn-out and comorbid conditions like depression.

In therapy, I use evidence-based approaches like CBT, ACT, and ERP to help you step out of these cycles so your relationships can feel less stressful, more authentic, and in line with your values.

  • It's common for depression and anxiety to co-exist, one fueling the other. The low moods, exhaustion, and isolation resulting from anxiety disorders can also be addressed in therapy.

If your anxiety symptoms are related to past traumatic events, and PTSD, we can use an evidence-based approach called CPT (cognitive processing therapy) to resolve root causes of your fears.

If adjusting to recent major life events, like divorce, infertility, moves, job changes, or childbirth, have worsened your anxiety symptoms, we will walk through strategies to recover and thrive.

A female therapist with long hair and glasses is seated on a brown couch, wearing a casual pink and white striped shirt and jeans, smiling at the camera. A small round table beside the couch holds an alarm clock and a small lamp.

With support, you can learn how to implement lasting, positive changes, and thrive in the roles important to you.
