It’s a free, quick phone call to discuss what you have been experiencing, answer questions about the practice, and decide if therapy at New Bridges feels like a good fit! Here is more information you can review before the call:
Who is Therapy at New Bridges Counseling a good fit for?
Therapy at New Bridges can be a good fit for women seeking evidence based treatment for OCD, intrusive thoughts, panic, anxiety, perfectionism, and related conditions.
How does private pay therapy work?
New Bridges Counseling is a private pay practice and is not in-network with insurance plans. A superbill can be provided for clients seeking possible out of network reimbursement from their insurance.
What does therapy cost?
Initial Intake Evaluation for New Clients: $145
Standard 50 minute Individual Therapy Session: $145
Family Education Session: $145
No-Show/Late Cancel Fee: $95
Fees are due at time of service.
Without 24 hour cancellation notice, the No-Show fee may be charged to your card on file. This helps to cover the cost of the missed time, and allows you to hold your place as a client with the practice. It’s understandable that emergencies, sick kids, and illness happen! Keep me informed of your situation.
*You may use HSA funds to pay for services, or request a superbill to submit to your insurance to check for out of network reimbursement.
A reduced cash rate is available on a limited, case by case basis. Please ask if interested!
How often do clients usually attend therapy?
Many clients begin with weekly sessions, especially when working on OCD, panic, intrusive thoughts, or anxiety-related concerns. Weekly sessions help build momentum, skills, and treatment momentum. We then adapt frequency as needed (i.e. 2x a month, 1x a month).
What is ERP therapy?
Exposure and Response Prevention is the gold standard evidence-based treatment for OCD and anxiety disorders that helps clients gradually face fears while reducing compulsive behaviors, reassurance seeking, and avoidance patterns.
How do I check if my insurance would reimburse me for out of network therapy?
You can give the member services number located on the back of your insurance card a call.
Ask: “Do I have out of network mental health/outpatient benefits on my plan?”
If yes, ask “What costs am I responsible for?Do I have a deductible or coinsurance?”
Finally, “How do I submit a claim? Online or by mail?”
Please let me know if you need me to provide you with a superbill (receipt of therapy services and payments made) to submit to your insurance company.
What’s Telehealth?
Telehealth is a great option if you can’t get away to the office or have a busy schedule. It’s also how I see my Georgia clients! With telehealth, you can have therapy via a video session on a HIPPAA compliant platform from the comfort of your location. You just need a strong internet connection and privacy, and you need to be physically located in Ohio or Georgia per state licensing rules. A session link is emailed to you prior to your first session.
How do you find the office?
The office suite (a waiting room and office space) is located on the 3rd floor of the Historic 102 Main Street Business Building in Downtown Wadsworth, Suite 304. There is an elevator!
