Meet the Therapist.

Lindsey Nolan, M.Ed., LPCC

I specialize in helping women who struggle with anxiety, OCD, and intrusive thoughts that feel difficult to control or turn off.

Many of the women I work with are high functioning on the outside, but internally feel stuck in overthinking, mental loops, or fear that’s hard to keep quiet. My work focuses on helping you step out of these patterns using structured, evidence based approaches so you can feel more grounded and in control.

How I Work

My approach is grounded in evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and exposure based strategies (like Exposure Response Prevention ERP). These approaches focus on helping you change how you respond to thoughts and anxiety, rather than trying to eliminate them altogether.

When trauma is part of your history, I can also incorporate Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to help reduce its ongoing impact and support long-term healing.

Therapy with me is active and collaborative. We focus on practical tools and strategies you can use in your daily life-not just insight alone.

While I specialize in anxiety and OCD treatment for women, my clients also experience related concerns including:

  • Persistent overthinking and rumination

  • Panic or intense anxiety episodes

  • People pleasing and difficulty setting boundaries

  • Stress related to life transitions

  • Periods of low mood and feeling “stuck.”

These are often related to underlying anxiety patterns, and we address them together.

Background and Experience

I have over 15 years of clinical experience working in medical, outpatient, and private practice settings. I am independently licensed in both Ohio and Georgia.

My background includes working with women experiencing anxiety, OCD, trauma, and related conditions across a variety of settings. This allows me to bring both depth and structure to the work we do together.

A bit more about me

I”m a wife and mom of two, and I moved here with my family from Georgia during the pandemic. Winters have been an adjustment. I love working with anxiety issues because I understand them well!

My goal is to provide a space that feels supportive, practical, and focused on helping you create meaningful, lasting change—not just temporary relief.
